Specialist Consultancy

We specialise in supplying fully trade-tested staff to the industry. Our consultants are all from the industry and can work with you on site to get a unique insight into your operations to ensure the best fit for each and every candidate we supply whether it is for one shift or an ongoing booking.

Training and Development

Each candidate under-go’s a skills assessment as part of our onboarding procedure. We ensure that they have the necessary skills required to work with one of our trusted Clients. We take training and development extremely seriously.

All food handlers are required to have completed Food Allergens via our Flow training platform and all Chefs are also required to have completed Food Safety Level 2 as a minimum. We also offer free upskilling sessions to our staff to help them to develop their skills.

Candidate Management

Our Consultants use bespoke CRM software to take care of all administration, including candidate availability and rota management. Investing in this software allows for an efficient end to end process.

Payroll

Our payroll is all managed in-house by our expert team. They process all candidate timesheets and look after all Client invoicing. All candidates are paid PAYE with no exceptions

Compliance is at the heart of our operation and it is something which we take extremely seriously.

Our compliance operation covers all aspect of candidate onboarding from uComply Right to Work checks in line with the Home Office guidelines, relevant certified training which is job role specific, ensuring we manage candidate data in line with the GDPR and our in house PAYE payroll is aligned with HMRC.

RIGHT TO WORK

Every single candidate who works with Evolve has to demonstrate their Right to Work in the UK by providing an accepted in date original document which is then scanned using our uComply scanning software which is available in all Evolve Office sites. The scanning software can detect fraudulent documents and is used by Evolve to protect both itself and its Clients.

FLOW TRAINING

Evolve Hospitality has partnered with FLOW to provide a training platform to all candidates. As a minimum requirement all food handlers will complete the Allergens training. All Chefs will complete Allergens and Level 2 Food Safety. Evolve also has access to a library of different training modules which candidates can complete in line with specific Client requirements.

PAYROLL

All Evolve Payroll is managed by a dedicated in-house team and all candidates are paid PAYE in line with HMRC without exception. All candidates who qualify will be auto-enrolled onto the Government Pension scheme. We always pay fairly and above industry average, and in line with the government recommended National Living Wage.

Recruitment Process

Candidate Onboarding

All FOH candidates are required to attend a dedicated induction session with our Onboarding & Compliance specialists who will collate the relevant documents required to work with Evolve. This will include their RTW in the UK, Proof of Address, Proof of National Insurance, CV and the completion of the Evolve Registration form which includes the Key Information Document, Acceptance of our GDPR policy and signing of the Worker Agreement.

All Evolve Candidates are required to undertake a Trade Test (BOH) or a Skills Assessment (FOH) before they are sent out to work with a client.

BOH Trade Testing

Chefs are required to change into the full chef whites so we can ensure they meet our uniform requirements. They must then complete a short cooking test in our on site kitchen and demonstrate their knife skills.

FOH Skills Assessment

FOH candidates are required to demonstrate basic wine pouring, table clearing, drinks service before they can go to their first shift but we have facilities to be able to upskill and train staff in silver service, mixology, barista service and basic till training.
