Education

After leaving school I studied hospitality and catering at South Thames College. I planned to stay for a year and go straight into work but ended up staying for three years and gained my professional cookery diploma!

Last Job

My last job before joining the office was at Jumeirah Carlton Tower as Sous chef, looking after a team of 16 chefs, which I found through temping with Evolve.

Your experience in Hospitality

My experience in hospitality began when I was in college, with my first job in a kitchen being at the Wimbledon tennis championships. I then went on to work at Rules restaurant as a pastry chef, alongside studying for my diploma. Since then I moved into the main kitchen, working in hotels, private members clubs and contract catering venues, until I found Evolve! I worked for 3 years in total as an agency chef and loved every moment of it, which leads me to where I am now.

Best Part of your Job

Working with such a wide range of clients, finding the best placements for chefs and kitchen porters and being able to relate after 12 years working in kitchens.
