Whatever business sector you’re working in, your first day working for Evolve can be challenging. But don’t worry, we’ve got some top tips so you can start as you mean to go on!
First and foremost, smile! Excellent Front of House service starts with a smile and eye contact!
2. Get to know your surroundings
Find out where your Staff Entrance is, where the Exit is, and your Manager. It’s important to know in case of any emergencies, or any questions you might have. Your Manager is on hand to answer any queries, or for anymore information about the venue!
3. Ask questions
No question is stupid. If you’re not sure about anything, you can always ask your Consultant or your Manager onsite. It’s especially important to ask about health, safety and food allergens if you’re not sure!
You will meet loads of new people on your first day, and it’s important to get to know your colleagues so you can work effectively in your team! It also helps when it might be busy, or you’re in a difficult situation, to have your team there to help.
5. Follow up
We’ll always contact you after your shift, to ask you how you got on, and what you enjoyed. We also will share feedback from clients so you know exactly where you did well! You can build on your skills, and attend our free training sessions to develop!
