DESCRIPTION

As Sales Manager for this top rated 4 star hotel, you will be responsible for maximising sales to ensure all key business opportunities are identified and exploited. You will create and implement a pro-active sales plan for the hotel in line with the hotel’s commercial business plan.

Your responsibilities will include:
Drive new business by regular face-to-face appointments on a weekly basis
Develop new and existing local corporate business
Maximise local sporting relationships and identify new opportunities
Key negotiation in leisure and group business
Management of an allocated portfolio of key accounts (agent and client direct)
Attend and network at local events to generate relationships with new and existing partnerships
Research and utilise competitor analysis for the business interests
Hold quarterly reviews with key clients and agents

SKILLS

Experience of the surrounding market

Clear understanding of business segmentation ensuring the right mix is achieved

Strong business acumen

Effective at multitasking in fast paced environment always maintaining a calm approach

Forward thinker with ability to identify opportunities in a proactive manner

QUALIFICATIONS

No formal qualifications are needed for this role, however you must have relevant experience.
