DESCRIPTION

We’re looking for a Head Chef to head up my client’s brigade at this beautiful Banqueting Venue & Private Members Restaurant situated in the Old Street/Moorgate area.

Working alongside the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all catering operations for this busy and high-volume site with a variety of outlets/event types – ranging from an in-house restaurant through to banquets & large-scale BBQs.

This is a fantastic company to work for that offers a real work/life balance – core nature of this site is Monday to Friday with weekends only as & when required for Weddings etc.

SKILLS

Previous experience in a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef role, preferably within a busy 5 Star Hotel/Banqueting environment.

Given the nature of the clientele at this venue, a Classical background would be a distinct bonus.

A solid understanding of Health & Safety, Menu Planning, Ordering, Stock Taking etc.

QUALIFICATIONS

You will need a Hygiene Level 2 Certificate that is dated within the last 3 years, and your Allergen Training Certificate.
